The High Commission of Australia - sponsored 80 Artificial Limbs (20 Above Knee and 60 Below Knee) to poor under privileged persons.

The handing over ceremony of Artificial Limbs to the recipients took place on 10th September 2007 at the Centre for Handicapped in Kundasale.  His Excellency Dr. Greg French & Ms. Surovi Abeyrathne from the Australian High Commission of Sri Lanka participated in this ceremony.
