Prosthetics
The center was initially fabricating aluminum limbs and subsequently switched into HDPE (High-Density Poly Ethylene) and Mobilite limbs by using modern technology. This apart, the centre has now introduced ICRC Polypropylene technology, which is modular endoskeletal design and more comfortable for the limb users.
The centre fabricates artificial limbs with following specialties:
- Most of the artificial limb components are made out of light weight and strong polypropylene.
- Artificial limbs are fabricated by assembling different components / modules, so that individual components can be replaced and moved according to the required alignment changes to achieve optimum function.
- Excellent alignment facilities due to modular components help Prosthetist to align prosthesis properly during gait practice.
- Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) outer finishing in different colours make prosthesis cosmetically match the skin and provide appeal and soft outer touch.
- Artificial limbs are made by a team of internationally qualified Prosthetists, Practitioners Assistants and Bench Technicians.
- Prosthetic fitment done under excellent clinical environment with physiotherapy services.
- Advance prosthetic gait training makes user adoptable to any kind of terrain.
- Bare foot walking is possible for villagers.
Orthotics
CFH has started fabricating light weight custom made polypropylene Orthoses from January, 2006 for people with physical disabilities like Polio, Muscle Paralysis, Arthritis etc.
Wheelchairs
We also provide wheelchair services to the needy. There are five types of wheelchairs available for person with physical disabilities to address their different requirements.

Our wheelchair services comprise of the following specialties:
- All the wheelchairs are designed and distributed based on the thorough individual assessment and measurement by an expert team.
- With the wheel chair prescription, We provide proper training on how to use the wheelchair effectively.
- Counseling is also provided on treatment of pressure sores, transferring and wheelchair management with safety precautions etc.
